Our innovative Two-Stage Parachute System (2-stage PLS) represents a breakthrough solution specifically engineered for heavier unmanned aerial vehicles weighing 70kg and above. This system addresses the unique challenges of deploying large-canopy parachutes for substantial UAVs while maintaining optimal weight efficiency.

The conventional approach to deploying large parachutes would require robust, heavy launching mechanisms that significantly impact the UAV’s performance. Our engineers recognized this fundamental limitation and developed an elegant two-stage solution that reduces system weight while maintaining deployment reliability.

The system operates through a precisely choreographed deployment sequence:
A lightweight primary launcher deploys a smaller pilot parachute, the pilot chute drags and deploys the main canopy.
The main canopy then provides the appropriate drag coefficient for the UAV’s weight class.

This 2-stage PLS system approach eliminates the need for oversized, weight-prohibitive launching mechanisms while ensuring consistent deployment reliability across diverse operational conditions.
