UAV LANDING & SAFETY

A safe flight ends with a safe landing.

While UAVs are a great tool for surveillance, industrial survey and lots of other applications, the most dangerous part of the UAV or Drone operation is always the landing. In some projects, design limitations don’t allow for landing gear or tactical limitations that eliminate the option of a runway.

Parachute design and development is at the core of our DNA.
We design and manufacture any types of recovery parachutes such as flat circle, conical, hemispherical, elliptical, square or parafoil for many kinds of UAS platform. Each product is fully custom-designed by our R&D team in order, to meet all project requirements and make the solution most efficient and reliable.

For complex project and tailor-made requirements, a dedicated mechanical engineer will be working with the client and manage the project, develop the textile, manufacture all strings and accessories and assembly on premises of the factory. Contact us.



The physical proximity to the design & engineering team allows the product owner to participate in the design process as if it’s an internal team.

Safety parachutes are not limited only for military use and should be installed on privet sector UAVs as well.

We provide full in-house support for string and fabric testing, competition wings development and much more solutions for the private and military UAV industries.










LANDING AIRBAGS

Decreasing the speed is only part of the story.
What about ground Impact?

Stopping a UAV is compiled of two parts, one is lowering the speed of descent, the second is protecting the UAV from ground impact with a tailor made AirBag.

A precisely engineered airbag is a great solution to absorb impact energy and prevent any damage to UAV. Each of our airbags is custom developed and based on unique geometry solution and meticulous material selection. Many years of experience in designing and testing, ensure successful operation even in the harshest conditions.



The challenge in integrating an AirBag with a UAV is the interface between the recovery system and the aircraft. We provide full support for integration with the UAV design, including help with the release and expansion mechanisms.

AirBags can soften the landing of aircraft as heavy as 100kg flying as fast as 200 km/h.
